Tarastone is a center of excellence for Buddhist practice, self-development, and the arts, located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The center offers online programs, accommodation, events, and courses on creative subjects across the arts. The mission is to encourage a compassionate approach to life. Tarastone hosts events like PeaceMeal and The Tarastone Peace Lecture. The meditation courses are progressive, offering techniques that build on each other and ongoing support as students progress. Accommodations include Swallow Cottage, a self-contained letting cottage in the Tarastone grounds, which sleeps 4-6 and is near Salisbury, Stonehenge, Shaftesbury, and the Cranborne Chase. The cottage is family and pet-friendly, has a private garden, Wi-Fi, and parking.
