About Mucknell Abbey

Mucknell Abbey, founded in 1941, is a religious center in Worcestershire, England. It was initially established as the Society of the Salutation of Mary the Virgin, providing support for women unable to join the religious life due to age, health, or other obstacles. The community embraced Benedictine life and sought formal recognition in 1950. Mucknell Abbey operates the Safeguarding Policy required by the Church of England.
