About HUASTECAMP
Updated: April 13, 2026
HUASTECAMP is a Mexican project founded over five years ago by entrepreneurs to provide quality organized camps and excursions in the Huasteca Potosina region. The project aims to promote healthy coexistence between people and nature through recreational activities, guided excursions, ecotourism, water activities, entertainment, and coexistence with nature. The mission is to create a strong collective awareness of conservation and respect for nature through appreciation, recreational team activities, and a positive attitude. It offers a wide variety of activities for children, adults, and families, focusing on environmental protection and fostering integration, solidarity, friendship, and camaraderie through play and socializing. The camp’s facilities are inspired by ancient Huastec cities, using materials like otate and red grass for construction. The project aims to create a connection between visitors and the Huastec people’s culture and nature, promoting both environmental and cultural sustainability. The excessive use of cement and steel has caused irreversible damage to the planet, and the construction sector is one of the main agents of climate change.
