About Holland House
Updated: April 12, 2026
Holland House, located in the Vale of Evesham, England, is a Christian retreat house that offers quiet spaces for individuals and groups to reflect, wonder, and be still. With 27 bedrooms, a bespoke chapel, and three acres of gardens, Holland House provides a welcoming environment for rest, creation, learning, and discussion. The house is overseen by an independent trust with close links to the Anglican Diocese of Worcester, and is served by the Friends and other volunteers. The Trustees set out a vision for Holland House in 2014, which is to be “in harmony with creation,” allowing for authentic encounters with self, others, and the Divine. Holland House works in partnership with the Worcester Interfaith Forum to encourage people from other faith traditions to use the house and share their faith with them. In 2011, Holland House won the Community Vote Award at the National Footprint Awards, demonstrating that small Christian charities can compete with commercial organizations in terms of ethical business practices.
