About Cedarbrake Renewal Center

Cedarbrake is the Diocese of Austin Retreat Center that was established in 1973. We have a variety of bedrooms, meeting spaces, prayer trails and two chapels to accommodate everyone. You are welcome to attend our sponsored retreats, make a private retreat or bring a group for your own retreat. Our diocesan Bishop Joe Vásquez recently said, “Retreats help us to listen to Christ and the Holy Spirit; the point of any spiritual retreat is to focus on hearing God’s voice and allowing ourselves to open our hearts to God’s will.
