Welcome to Aryaloka Buddhist Retreat Center! Located on fourteen acres of woodland and bordered by the winding Piscassic river, Aryaloka is a tranquil refuge in the heart of the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire. Since its founding in 1985, Aryaloka has been a place of spiritual discovery. We are a community dedicated to the study, practice and communication of Buddhist teachings. We are part of the Triratna Buddhist Community Ц an international modern Buddhist movement, with centers, communities and projects all over the world. Aryaloka offers a great mix of classes, workshops and retreats on meditation, mindfulness, yoga, Dharma study, and ethical lifestyle topics such as vegetarian cooking.
